Return Policy Overview
At Efriends African Foods, customer satisfaction is our priority. Due to the perishable nature of many of our products, our return policy is designed to be fair while ensuring food safety standards are maintained.
Eligible Returns
You may request a return or exchange within 48 hours of delivery for: damaged or broken products, incorrect items received, products that do not match the description, expired products upon delivery. Please retain the original packaging and take photos as evidence.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to food safety regulations, the following items cannot be returned: opened or consumed food products, frozen items that have been thawed, products that were not stored according to label instructions, items damaged due to customer negligence.
How to Request a Return
Contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery at support@efriendsfoods.com. Include your order number, photos of the product, and a description of the issue. Our team will review your request and respond within 24 hours.
Refund Process
Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method. For cash on delivery orders, refunds are issued via e-Transfer. You'll receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed.
Exchanges
If you'd prefer an exchange instead of a refund, we'll ship the replacement item at no additional cost once we've verified the return request. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Delivery Fee Refunds
If a return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged product), the delivery fee will also be refunded. For returns due to customer preference changes, delivery fees are non-refundable.
